To conclude this aside, it’s worth knowing that our sites were sold in 2003 to Dreamnex, our main competitor at the time, and today the only French company operating sexy lingerie boutiques to be quoted on the Stock Exchange…
When our new LegAvenue-France.com site was launched in July 2005, this time devoted to the trade, we applied the same formulæ as before, since, apart from a few details, the constraints and demands of the customers are quite simply the same :

We had the first 5 links in the chain under complete control in-house at our headquarters up till April 2006, by which time our workflow and turnover had reached such a level that our system was becoming less efficient and unsatisfactory for the last two of those links: Back Office & Logistics.
Our culture is always one of anticipation, so we decided to entrust these two vital links to specialists who make them their sole activities (BoutiqueBuilder & Morin Logistic).

This was an immediate success, as once again Starnet France has been the pioneer of this mode of distribution in the lingerie sector in France. Leg Avenue, the world’s leading brand in sexy lingerie, is also very largely responsible for this rapid growth.
This Drop Shipping service, now referred to as ‘classic’, has been totally adopted by many of our customers who appreciate all its advantages. However, having seen that this service had its limits in terms of information transfer, Starnet France has dreamt up what is now the ‘Rolls-Royce’ of Drop Shipping : The ULTIMATE version.
PRESENTATION
BoutiqueBuilder, the technical service provider for our Internet infrastructure and the logistics upload processes to our platform Morin Logistic, has developed a special application, to our own specifications, that allows all Starnet France’s trade customers to have an Internet boutique aimed at the public, in phase with the information contained in the version reserved for Starnet France’s professionals.
The aim of this application is to enable trade customers to open an Internet boutique presenting the Leg Avenue brand, and right from the outset to have the essential elements in terms of images, databases, and logistics transfer.
BoutiqueBuilder’s technical and financial proposal is presented for you in the attached document.
It should be noted that Starnet France and BoutiqueBuilder are two independent companies and that you alone will be leasing the applications provided. This is in no way a proposal of affiliation or partnership. Once your contract has been ratified, you and you alone will be financially and legally liable for your website.

Front Office : This is the visible part of your future website – the part your customers will see when they visit your URL :

You also have a private access so you can give your website the image you want. There is no graphical or other limit. You just need certain technical skills to master this tool.

Back Office : the heart of the system (see photo): The sales management interface provided gives you complete control over the site and the sales management.
The version of this back office you’ll be using is a slimmed-down one, since all the logistics part, in particular, will go directly up to Morin Logistic.
You need to appreciate that this back office offers the most advanced features on the market and is in no way comparable with other versions you may find elsewhere. Real sales management is incorporated and no other billing or other software is needed.
As this back office is an on-line solution and not a piece of software, it is totally upgradeable by the BoutiqueBuilder teams.
In addition to the basic elements, the proposal includes :
Setting up your secure payment system
One half-day’s training on Front and Back Office (by telephone and Internet using BoutiqueBuilder’s own technology).
Loading database with the Leg Avenue articles (articles/pictures/descriptions), see below for Starnet fees for making these elements available.
Offer includes updating (each new article available for sale via Drop Ship is automatically updated onto your site).
All in-stock articles are immediately made available on your site (you can choose to display stock situation or not). Out-of-stock articles cannot be bought or displayed on your site. Customers visiting your site see a real-time display of your stock – although it’s actually Starnet France’s stock !
Opportunity to sell products other than the Leg Avenue brand or brands distributed by Starnet France. (These articles will be stocked at your own premises or with another supplier. If one of your customers orders a Leg Avenue article and an article from another brand stocked by you, the back office will raise 2 separate orders.
One will be processed automatically by our logistics platform, the other by yourself or your partner.)
All orders for Leg Avenue products paid for by your customers pass directly into the logistics process for despatch the same day, or the next day if ordered after 12 noon (excluding weekends and public holidays).
In order to have a true picture of stocks, only credit card payment is offered.
Raising of invoices for you (your purchase from Leg Avenue France) and your customer from your own back office.
Real-time consignment tracking in your back office, and for your customers through their private access to your website.
E-mail sent automatically to you (from our back office) and to your customer’s e-mail address (from your own back office) when consignment is dispatched.
Dispatch : As in the classic Drop Ship offer, a Dispatch Note (unpriced) and issued under your name is included in the consignment. In the same way, the Colissimo suivi [tracked parcel post] or Chronopost dispatch label used on the parcel carries your address details.
Customers receiving their parcels will really believe the parcel has been sent from your address.
And in the event of your customer’s getting the address wrong, the parcel will be returned directly to your postal address.
The cost of dispatch in drop shipping mode within France is as follows: €5 / parcel + €1 / article (both ex. VAT)*
This price includes: packing, logistics labour costs, carriage, double tracking.
* subject to modification with 30 days notice, as per current postal and/or logistics costs.
Returns: for obvious logistical reasons, Starnet France cannot handle the various product returns generated by your customers. As in the classic Drop Ship offer, faulty articles are exchanged directly to your customer (after return), but if your customer sends you back an article for some other reason (they don’t like it, for example), you receive it at your postal address and you will apply your own general conditions for returns, exchanges, or credit notes. To put the returned article back on sale on your site, you will need to create a product details sheet for this article in ‘non drop ship’ mode.
Starnet France opens a special account for you and proposes automatic direct debiting from your bank account every week to pay for the purchases made through legavenue-france.com. (an authorization request will be sent to you).
For your part, you will have the following elements to configure :
Your own specific sales terms and conditions.
Your various pages for sales, your company, and other uses (unlimited).
Your prices: You decide your own pricing, but without selling at less than twice your ex. VAT buy-in price (excluding sales or temporary promotions, which you are totally in charge of).
Once your contract has been confirmed by BoutiqueBuilder and your full application has been rolled out (10–15 days), your boutique will be ready for operation.
Availability of the Starnet France elements :
Starnet France offers an element of great value that is indispensable for the implementation of this total solution – the provision and continual updating of the databases (articles/pictures).
This service will be billed to you once only at a cost of €1,700 ex. VAT.
All updates, additions of articles or brands available for drop ship distribution are included.
Your BoutiqueBuilder / Starnet France investment for using this top-notch solution is €4,400 ex. VAT. (€2,700 ex. VAT / BoutiqueBuilder + €1,700 ex. VAT / Starnet France).
